Employers are obliged to modify their policies and practices in the management of such cases, failing which they will be subject to recourse or fines, as the case may be.<\/p><p>The law now specifies the elements that employers must <strong>include in their policies for preventing and dealing with<\/strong> situations of psychological harassment.<\/p><p><strong>In particular<\/strong>, employers <strong>must include information and training programs<\/strong> on the prevention of psychological harassment for employees, as well as for persons designated by the employer to handle a complaint or report;<\/p><p>We recommend that employers review their policies now. Once updated, employers should :<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5b65500 elementor-icon-list--layout-traditional elementor-list-item-link-full_width elementor-widget elementor-widget-icon-list\" data-id=\"5b65500\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"icon-list.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"elementor-icon-list-items\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li employees;<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-circle\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">obtain acknowledgement of receipt from employees; and<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-circle\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">provide training on the revised policy to all employees, and specific training to all managers responsible for its application.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3d73187 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3d73187\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>These changes will take effect on September 28, 2024, 6 months after the adoption of Bill 42.<\/p><p>Through the workshop and coaching we offer, you will be able to meet your prevention obligations by training your teams to recognize harassing behavior and identify the appropriate actions to put in place to put a stop to
